Riverside Weekend

Officers from Fulham Town & Sands End Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), in partnership with Hammersmith Broadway SNT, conducted high‑visibility patrols along the Hammersmith & Fulham riverside, extending to Fulham Pier.

The riverside area experienced a significant increase in footfall due to scheduled community activities, including giant games, live music performances, street entertainment, food vendors, and family‑oriented attractions. Officers engaged proactively with members of the public, providing reassurance, addressing queries, and supporting a safe environment throughout the event.

Teams also promoted Met Engage, encouraging sign‑ups to strengthen ongoing community engagement and partnership working.

The policing presence contributed to a well‑managed and enjoyable weekend for residents and visitors.
